It is one week workshop, collaborated with Jenn. This workshop was led by Timo Arnall (Oslo School of Architecture & Design) and Matt Cottam.
In this week, we looked over film-making, cinematography, animation and other time-based techniques that allow us to explore ideas and story. The aim of this workshop is to temporarily break-free from pixels, screens, digital tools and interfaces, and clever use simple objects and tools from the world, expose new ways to see, understand and communicate our work.
<fallen> is a story about a pencil which is guided by a pencil sharpener to another world.
…a car is like a piece of clothing, tells who you are and what you think.
In this project, I worked with Marcos, a transportation design student in Umeå institute of design. I decided to make a short animation to show the concept vehicle which is an open electric car for young female in the future, almost 10 years late. Since the vehicle which has been designed has an elegant pure shape and fits the style of young females, the feeling of the animation will be soft and artistic. Here are some key words about the feeling of the car and the animation: Pure, Ludic, Allure.

The Story background:
The vehicle consists of 2 main components, an upper and lower body that allows the vehicle to be produced and assembled without the use of standard welding and painting techniques. At the beginning of the film, the growing black cubes is the symbol of the old vehicle manufacture which is complicated and heavy. Then it collapsed, a new environment appeared…
The aim of this project is to conceive, develop, shoot, edit, present and digitally distribute a one
minute short motion picture film.
My original idea came from censorship which is common in my country. My characters in this animation are one abstract line and a pair of hands which is the symbol of censorship, ruler or system, someting like that. At the beginning, there is a dynamic line changing into many interesting shapes such like flowers, a sail boat, and a balloon. But a big hand stops the changing of the line every time…
